Cross-sell complementary products on every product page
The problem
Customers land on a product page, decide to buy, and leave - without ever seeing the accessories, upgrades, or complementary products that would have made their purchase more complete. Standard WooCommerce related products are easy to skip and rarely convert.
How bundles solve it
BizBundles places a cross-sell widget directly on the product page where the buying intent is already high. The Frequently Bought Together layout shows 2-3 companion products with a combined price and a single add-to-cart. The Comparison Kit shows two or three product variants side by side, helping customers self-select the right option without contacting support.
Recommended layouts
3 steps to implement
- Choose your layout
Use Frequently Bought Together for companion products at a bundled price. Use Comparison Kit for side-by-side variant comparison (e.g. Starter vs Pro). Use Addon Stack for a main product with optional add-ons.
- Set products and pricing
Point to real WooCommerce products. Set a bundle discount or keep full price. Guardrails prevent the bundle from going live if a product is deleted or goes out of stock.
- Publish
The widget appears on the product page. Customers see the cross-sell in context, at the moment of highest buying intent.
Frequently asked questions
Can I show cross-sell bundles on every product page?
Each bundle is attached to a single product page. You can create multiple bundles across different products. There is no automatic "show everywhere" setting - each bundle is intentionally placed on a specific product.
Does the Frequently Bought Together layout work with variable products?
Yes. You can include variable products in the FBT layout. If the product has variations, the customer selects them at add-to-cart time.
What is the Addon Stack layout?
Addon Stack shows a main product with a list of optional extras - each extra is a real WooCommerce product added to the cart individually at full price. No discount is applied to add-ons; they are sold as genuine extras, not fake bundles.
